LA CLASE OLYMPIC

La clase Olympic fue un trío de transatlánticos construidos por los astilleros de Harland and Wolff en Belfast (Irlanda del Norte) para la compañía naviera White Star Line a principios del siglo XX. Dos de ellos, el Titanic y el Britannic, se hundieron en 1912 y 1916 respectivamente. El único buque sobreviviente que pudo cumplir su servicio fue el primero, el Olympic, que operó entre los años 1911 y 1935.

THE OLYMPIC CLASS

The Olympic class was a trio of ocean liners built by the shipyards of Harland and Wolff in Belfast (Northern Ireland) for the shipping company White Star Line at the beginning of the 20th century. Two of them, the Titanic and the Britannic, sank in 1912 and 1916 respectively. The only surviving ship that could fulfill its service was the first, Olympic, which operated between 1911 and 1935.
